I have been working as a Systems Consultant for US Bank (US Bancorp) since July 2007. I work in a team that supports over 800 AIX, HP-UX, Linux and Solaris servers. Prior to starting with US Bank, I was working as a contractor at IBM, Rochester, MN, in a AIX/Linux Systems Administrator and Systems Developer role since March 2005. Apart from installation, configuration, administration, upgrade and support of UNIX servers, I enjoy developing systems and tools. I have had the opportunity to develop and deploy many applications and scripts (both web-based and CLI-based) that are currently being used on hundreds of 24x7 production servers, for both high-end research computing projects and high-traffic mission-critical production and ecommerce environments. I love the incredible power of automation offered by scripting and programming!
